Stopped in at Lawrence House Museum on our way out of Maitland. Local roads to Truro, pretty drive through downtown following 311 to Tatamagouch.
Check in at Train Station Inn. We have a great green caboose with wood paneling and a brass bed.
The sun comes out to end the day.
Off to dinner, arrive at Pictou Lodge Resort with a few minutes to spare. Home to the caboose by 11.

Balmoral Mill
This is an amazing place to visit, a fully functional grist mill. The machinery fills all 3 floors of the building and the whole place is alive with sound and dust, like a living giant.
