Reality: Meander to mud

Download past two days. Visited Greenwood Military Aviation Museum, Oaklawn Farm Zoo, drove along Rt. 1. In Wolfville, we looked for old book got some helpful leads from the fellow at The Odd Book. Wolfville through-road was under construction - picked up an inch of dust in half a mile.

At Dave's idea of a good speed, we meandered along the farmroads alongside the Minas Basin- Hants County side. Windsor was a pretty town to drive through. Good size mansions - including the beautifully restored Clockmaker's B&B - which had been a considered stay. Impressive.

Had fruit for lunch, so by the time we made it to Walton (middle of nowhere), we were willing to eat bad fish and chips at the Tidal View Restaurant and LOUNGE. Take a tip from us, drink here, watch the tide a good long time, catch a game on TV with the regulars, but bring a meal from elsewhere :).

Checked in at our B&B. Needed to stretch our legs-walk out the long drive over the fun backroads. Our innkeeper directed us to the shore very close by,part of Cobequid Bay. It was a bit on the late end of the day, low clouds limiting the length of our rambling. We had to remain close to the cliffside edge of the beach or risk slipping or SINKING into the red mud that seems to stretch for miles at low tide. More cool rocks, sedimentary in nature, like the Grand Canyon with a sea.The highlight of the walk was the eagles , which seemed to fly closer, even as we made our way back, one flying so close we heard the wings on air. Awsome!
Collected some feathers found below the roosts.
