The Plan:

Photo of "stuff" pack, gas, go!

Reality: Leave this town

Packed up the car, tried to avoid a snit, tense as the rain poured down again. Gassed up and picked up sandwiches for a road meal. Crept along in a NH style traffic jam-everyone heading home or heading out and the usual yields and road merges just not designed for this volume. Peek of sun outside Rochester, NH -followed the blue sky through R's hometown and drove into a coastal fogbank.

At the very least, we are out of NH, away from motorcycle week mega party down the road from us, two murders in two weeks, and some very soggy weather. Bad spirits, river at flood stage, death, frustration, too many people, no sun.

The big banana smile

The big banana smile

Rosanne writes: "Here's some magic, Dave was in a foul mood from wanting to leave earlier, the rain, Friday afternoon traffic. Finally rolling along at a good pace and transformed the upside-down frown into a charm...worked too. Everything is going to be ok! :)"
