Slept in, much needed. Had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. We worked on yesterday's notes and updates. (Dave fixed software for some of this).
Drive into Middleton to exchange currency and pick up lunch. Short visit to the Annapolis Valley Macdonald Museum.
Time for Fundy fun. Headed back over North Mountain to Sand beach.
For dinner, we decided to try the Falcourt Inn. Had a great view of the Nictaux River and a one lane bridge. Seemed to be a steady group of people stopping there, so we asked. The shad (type of fish) were running. We went to catch the shad action after dinner. Swirling schools of fish in shallow water. Numbers were impressive. Then it was off to Middleton Regional High School to see 400 little birds fly into a chimney. Yee-haah this is what we love about Nova Scotia- all the little events and places.
