Drive away from the rain towards Minas Basin.
We left rain swept Cape Breton for a long highway drive down to the Minas Basin and Five Islands. We meet Joy Laking and she gave us some good tips on where to play and stay.
Off to Parrsboro, Sunday on Labor day weekend and no reservations! After a short panic, the helpful tourist info folks of Parrsboro found us a room. A little more relaxed we proceeded to Partridge Island.
After a long meandering around the Island we returned to town for a forgettable dinner.
A little too rough for my massage therapist hands. Dave gets higher than my attempts. Great footholds.
