Our first stop. Circa 1860s home , stepping into this elegant historic home to imagine a different era ; that of a working farm, seven children household,and a thriving boatbuilding business. Great view of the bay, informatve staff. This place was luxury in its day. .. right down to the covered walkway to the ''Mr &Mrs. four-seater'' (outhouse-potty). Much of the period furniture is original, 20 of the 23 rooms are open to the public. Dave spotted an old telescope case in the attic- we wondered where this antique in its day went
