Site of future golf links course
We where getting blown away on the Inverness boardwalk. Dave
is trying real hard not to look cold, while our friends the
Camerons are freezing! The area to the right
will be a golf links course next year, pending approval from
the provincial government.

Even the cat was cold
Socks, the cat at Heart of Harts was always trying to
hop in our car as we left - perhaps she wanted to get
away from Maggie, the chocolate lab puppy.

And they're off!
Sunday afternoon racing at Inverness Raceway
|
|
|
First lap
These races have a real home town feel to them. One of Betty
Cameron's many brothers drives at the track. Folks of all
ages show up for the action.

A close finish
Rosanne and I have never been to the horse races, this was
a fun way to kill some time on a COLD Sunday afternoon.

Grandfather's bed
The bed in our room at the Heart of Harts, was built by a senior Hart, known for his exceptional
skill as a chair maker.

A sunny end
Once again at dinner time, the sun came out and the
wind stopped whistling warming up the evening.
