Photo of the Day for July 3
Life is a Beach
Sunny day, blue sky, a long sandy beach and all a short
drive from our last stay. It all comes together for a great
second Friday of our trip!

Great Rock
This one's a keeper, neat little square hole in it where
there had been a crystal.

Far End
All the way to the end and back again.

All Smiles
This green sea monster is not quite warm enough to peel
off a layer of clothing and take a dip. Looks like it's
beachcombing for the day. Fine!

The Back Bay
If Martinique beach does not suit you, perhaps the Bird and
wildlife sanctuary just over the dunes will.

Estuary
Too bad we do not have kayaks, No Fundy tides to contend with
here. This place is very much like some of Rosanne's favorite
Maine seacoast hangouts.

Halifax, Here We Come
Over one of the harbour(this is how Canada spells harbor)
bridges and we are almost to our waterfront/downtown hotel.
Time to wash off the sand and think about Friday night in the
city.

Harbour View
The view from the 8th floor of the Radisson. Nice view looking
out the harbour. The long grey building has "Oyster Bar"
painted on it - you can guess what happens next.

The Tongue
auh.. or is that a wave? I guess it depends where your
mind is at. It IS just outside the entrance of the
Maritime Museum and the Marine Atlantic Pavillion.

Happy Hour Again
Friday night and it's oysters and martini time!

Friday Night Celebration
Delayed Canada day fireworks and the first sunny Friday in
weeks, bring a large crowd to the waterfront. This is where
we waited to hook up with our Halifax contacts.
