Church on the hill
On days like this, Rosanne likes to stop and look at
the churches as we drive.

Sheep with a touch of blue
We have taken this little side road (Sherbrook by way of
the Country Harbour ferry) for the last three
years. There seems to always be blue sky when we reach
the hill of sheep.

Some Cove
Welcome to the marine drive.

Yellow Trim? Why Not!
Something to brighten the day. have also spotted a
maroon trim on another church we passed. Perhaps these highly
visible colors are so one can find the place when the fog's
as thick as pea soup.

Church or Meetinghouse
There was no marker or sign for this place, but showing
signs of restoration and TLC. Perhaps the sign is being replaced.

Central Heating
The stove pipe from this wood stove runs the full length
of the chapel. I wonder which pews fill up first ?

Carnival on the move
About five carnival rides had stoped to fill up with gas.
We had to wait, and then had to drive the last few miles
to our hotel behind them. Thank God we didn't get behind
them earlier.

Construction Again
When we arrived at Salmon River House for the night, we
found a full paving crew hard at work smack in front of the
place. Hope they don't get started at 6:00 am in the
morning! (they didn't)

Send in your money or Shackey gets cooked!
This sixteen pounder is being held for ransom - the proceeds
will help promote local tourism. We decided to stay neutral
on this one.
