Drive to Digby and spend the afternoon exploring Digby Neck.
Halfway between Annapolis Royal and Digby a cloud of steam appears from under the hood. Great, the weather had cleared we were making great time to Digby and it looked like we would have all afternoon to explore - now we might make it to Digby in time to find a place to stay. Well this might have been the case back in the states, but not in Nova Scotia. Less than five minutes later we got a ride into Digby. Not just a ride but a shuttle from service station to service station until Dave Duggan was sure we had help. Then Wayne at the Irving station chased down a belt and arranged for a tow. We had lunch in Digby while the car was fixed and returned to find our Miata purring. Well things were looking up 3:00, we had a room at the Olde Village Inn in Sandy Cove and still had time to make it to Brier Island for the sunset.
Rosanne attempts to fly into the sunset at Brier Island. A great end to our stop and go day.
